With Support From Turner and Townsend Suiko

Solution

After the BEx Program was launched, team members from both A-Gas and Turner and Townsend Suiko began working hard to implement best-practice methodologies and tools. So far, these have enabled the Rhome Operations Team and wider business departments to streamline their processes and improve their technological capabilities.

Results

The project has gone from strength to strength since its conception and has achieved strong results in terms of both team engagement and innovation. As well as implementing multiple new strategies to enhance their operations, over 75% of A-Gas employees have completed the Lean Competency System (LCS) Lean Awareness 1A training, the first stage of A-Gas’ BEx Academy.

Chris Jones, Director, T&T Suiko

Chris Jones, T&T Suiko's Director, said, "A-Gas and its teams have shown great engagement in the Business Excellence methodology, with the program to date delivering great performance improvements through establishing new ways of working. It is great to see these growing and being rolled out across all areas of the business. From our initial planning engagements, A-Gas’ team members have clearly defined its program expectations and embraced their required contributions.

They provided the necessary resources (manning and financial), governance and senior-level support to enable the success of the program. Most importantly, the local teams really know their business, coming forward with thought-out opportunities that have a great impact on A-Gas’ operations. Throughout it has been an enjoyable experience for all of the Turner & Townsend Team involved.”
