R407F is an HFC blend that is suitable for use in both low and medium temperature refrigeration applications, such as industrial & commercial refrigeration. It can be used to retrofit some existing R404A systems and is a good choice for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint, as it has a much lower GWP. R407F could also be used as an R22 replacement in some applications—but you need to make sure the system is completely evacuated, and the oil is replaced.
