R449A (Opteon™ XP40) is an HFO blend, used as a replacement for R404A and R507 in low- and medium-temperature refrigeration applications. R449A is suitable for new installations and retrofits of existing equipment. Its low Global Warming Potential (GWP) offers improved energy efficiency and environmental properties.
A-Gas' PENGUIN™ Certified Reclaimed Refrigerants meet the following criteria:
AHRI 700 Certified
Contain at least 85% Reclaimed Material
99.5% Minimum Purity
