Product Information
R454B (Opteon™ XL41) is a mildly flammable, low-GWP refrigerant designed to replace R410A in new equipment designs. R454B offers the optimal balance of properties to replace R410A in positive displacement, direct expansion air-conditioning, heat pump, and chiller applications. It offers similar properties to R410A, which makes it easy and cost-effective to apply in new equipment without major modifications.

As a mildly flammable, non-toxic refrigerant, it has a safety classification of A2L.
Due to its flammable nature, R454B requires different charging and recovery procedures.
Store cylinders in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and hot surfaces. No smoking.
